Beauties visit tourist attractions in Malacca city
MALACCA: The 43 Miss Tourism International delegates caught the many residents here by surprise as they visited tourist attractions around the city recently.
The beauty pageant contestants were here for sightseeing.
They took a cruise along the Malacca River, had a spin on the recently opened Eye on Malaysia in Kota Laksamana and a took a ride up Menara Taming Sari to get a bird’s eye view of the city and its historic sites.

Despite their tight schedule, the beautiful ladies managed to squeeze some time to shop along Jonker Street while sampling local delicacies such as chendol and chicken rice balls.
Representing our country was Kuantan lass Angela Ching Cheau Thung, 22, who emerged as the champion of Miss Pahang Tourism early last year.
“This is my first time visiting Malaysia and also Malacca. Its very beautiful and I especially love Jonker Street the most,” said 21 year old Vietnamese Ngoc Diem.
