Azul Brazilian Airlines has been elected by SkyTrax as the best low-cost airline in South America for the seventh consecutive year.
The announcement was made today at the Paris Airshow. In addition, Azul was also named for the second consecutive year as the winner of the Best Airline Staff in South America award. The Skytrax World Airline awards are one of the most widely recognized in the world, and a symbol for operational and customer service excellence in the airline industry.
“These awards are the direct result of the incredible efforts of Azul’s 11,000 crewmembers, who go above and beyond to take care of our customers every day. I thank them all for their unconditional dedication, furthering our mission, which is to make every flight the best flight for our customers. I would also like to thank our more than 22 million yearly customers for their loyalty in choosing to fly Azul,” said Azul President, Antonoaldo Neves.
Held since 1998, the Skytrax Airline Awards Ceremony is based on the largest airline passenger satisfaction survey in the world, and has demonstrated its authentic reliability by not accepting sponsorship from third parties or receiving other commercial benefits.
